Rabbits Fall to the Eagles

The Eagles scored the only run they would need for the win in the top of the first inning as their number two hitter took one over the right field fence. This wasn't indicative of Cody McMurray's night on the mound though. McMurray turned in a complete game only giving up five hits for the night. Two of the hits were for home runs as the Eagles took him deep again in the seventh. Decatur's pitcher also had a complete game only giving up three hits to the Rabbits. The Rabbits had a few opportunities but could not get the hit when they needed it. The Rabbits will finish their first swing through district with Whitesboro coming to town Friday night.
